Collection: The Sun of Segou

The sun feeds us. Each one of us is like a small, unique and unrepeatable flame.

In Segou, Mali, the sun shines on the men and women who work with an ancient technique: bogolanfini, which also needs the sun for its painting and drying process.

The handmade fabrics created from meters of hand-spun cotton, woven on looms and treated with the most sacred alchemy, contain women's secret messages.

The "O Sol de Segou" collection honors these women and men who worked and still work with bogolan. It is necessary and urgent to make visible the handmade fabrics that contain so much strength, wisdom and technique. The earth, sacred geometry and a complex textile technique cannot be lost or forgotten.

We hope each piece will brighten your days while at the same time helping to light the way to a more just and sustainable future for the communities that produce these fabrics. We believe in the importance of valuing craftsmanship and promoting more ethical and sustainable fashion.

"O Sol de Segou" is a collection that unites tradition and modernity, beauty and responsibility, craftsmanship and social awareness. We celebrate Segou artisans, their history and their heritage, and we are proud to be able to share this richness with the world.

A collection in partnership with Himba Zilda.
